How do I set up my family tree information?
To set up your tree, go to "set up family tree." Log in as a returning customer or set up an account as a new customer, and click "continue." Click "Add Family Information." Fill out the form for the Matriarch and Patriarch. Click "Save." This will take you to a page to add children or pets. Continue to fill out the form, clicking on "Save" after each entry until it is complete.
Don't worry if you forget something. You can always go back and edit your information at any time.

How do I include deceased family members?
Note on the form that he is deceased and he will have a halo over his head. Angel characters are also available in babies and adults. If a spouse is deceased and the surviving family member is remarried, both can be included on the tree. The halo makes clear what has transpired. This is especially nice for the children of the deceased parent. Of course, the decision is yours. Every family is different and there is no right or wrong way to design your Family Tree. |

Can you change the character’s size?
Yes. If in reviewing your proof you see that a character is depicted vastly different than reality, the height or width can be changed. This may make a difference in a couple is depicted as close in size when, in reality, the husband is 6'5" and the wife is 4'11". However, please keep in mind that the picture is not to scale. Characters may be shown larger than reality so that they show up in the crowd. People may be smaller in comparison to family members because it looks better, artistically, on the page. You may change to a size that depicts a character better, but don't get caught up trying to create a realistic depiction of every person. These are just likenesses that represent the people in your family, not caricatures.

Can you change a character’s details?
Not usually. We have many of the same characters with different hair colors or clothing colors, but can't change a curly haired character to a bald one or change the type of neck tie a man is wearing. That would require a character change. |

How do you handle divorce in the artwork?
That decision is yours. The tree is usually designed based upon who it is being created for. Most people stick to blood relatives, current spouses and the children they are raising, either full or part time. Some people are still close to their ex-family members and want them included on the tree. If you decide to include an ex-spouse, you may opt ot place one of their children or a space between the divorced couple. |

When will my Family Tree 4-U be shipped to me?
Because of the personal nature of the Family Trees, and it is impossible to determine an exact ship date at the time you place your order. Usually a black and white proof of your Family Tree will be sent to you for your approval within 2-4 weeks, sometimes sooner. If you have a deadline to meet, please be sure to note that via e-mail, and you will be notified as to whether the deadline can be met.
Once your approval of the proof is received, a framed family tree will be shipped within 3 days. Other products, such as tiles or mugs, may take longer to print, based on quantity and the printing process used. You will be contacted as we go through the whole process so that you will know what to expect.
Remember to order early for the holidays and Mother's Day. Summer reunion orders should be placed as far in advance as possible, especially if you are ordering a large number of t-shirts or other products.

Can I place a rush order?
Yes. There is a $25.00 rush fee for orders needed within 2 weeks. Just remember, the Family Tree is created solely for you, so your quick responses to questions and approval of the proof will expedite the process. I want you to love your Family Tree 4-U, so give us and yourself as much time as possible to create your tree. |

Do you ever create custom orders?
Yes. You can view some examples on the website. There is a sweatshirt for a cheerline, a t-shirt for a literature day at school and autograph shirts bearing the schools' names and year. Other ideas you may want to consider are personalized shirts for Father's Day, Mother's Day or Grandparents.
The creation of a custom order will require you to discuss your desires with Ginny, and then you will be quoted a price.
